The Personal Data Protection Law aims to develop a legislative framework that guarantees the user to protect his data that has been subjected to electronic processing, by preserving several subsidiary rights, such as: the right to know the nature of the data owned by the data holder and processor, and allows the data subject to file a complaint against users Data, and sue them if necessary. The law also addresses companies and institutions that deal with user databases, and on the basis of that determines the standards that govern the relationship between users and digital companies. From this point of view, the law stipulates the establishment of a digital data protection center to be tasked with monitoring the implementation of the law. Issuance of licenses, permits and approvals to companies that process and use personal data of users, as well as directing the necessary instructions to direct the law, which we see as a welcome development that keeps pace with the electronic development in public and private life, but does the law fully preserve digital freedoms? This is what we seek to know through this paper.
